i made this masterpost in hopes that it helps you in making your own OCs ah;; it can also apply to developing RP characters i suppose! if you’d like to add more resources then go for it sugar pea (´ヮ`)!
If you love animals or drawing then you should add this book to your collection. The Art of Animal Drawing is a crash course in not only animal anatomy, but usage of lines, page composition, animation and more! It covers over 20 different species, but the material itself may be incorporated into any type of figure drawing.
There’s an online version of the book HERE, or you can purchase it on Amazon.com

Greetings Anon!
First of all regardless of what you decide, remember you are NOT alone. And I mean that in both a “Jesus is on your side way,” and there are a lot more of us LGBTQ Christians that have traveled down this path that you are facing ahead of you. Than one would think. :)
I think the first thing you should definitely do is pray. Pray that God will prepare you, your family and the girl you like’s hearts for some very intense but exciting changes.
You could even pray that your parents’ hearts be softened to your situation.
I would suggest a strong support system if you have one. Maybe a teacher, school counselor, or friends who will stand by you. I came out in College, away from my family (which in some ways may have been better) but without my support system I am not sure I would have made it.
Be honest with your parents. If it helps, write your feelings down, or even write them a letter.
Understand that your parents may need time… This is HARD. My wife and I are celebrating three years together today! And my parents have yet to fully embrace her as my wife. They are kind to her, but with limitations and they declined to come to our wedding. (I am watering this hurtful emotional part of my story for now as its long) basically… I have to forgive them in my heart every day. I have to ask God for help because I know they still love me… But their lack of desire to understand me is a very hurtful thing. My wife’s parents have come around full circle in an amazing way! And have really included me as part of their family!
At the end of the day you are God’s masterpiece and every amazing painting or sculpture or even story has elements in that make them special. You are no exception!
I don’t know your entire situation or your story or where you are at with Christ. But no matter what. Cling to him through out your journey. Don’t let imperfect people (even our parents) change your love for Him… Stand firm in your faith and in who you are I promise you it is possible to be gay and a Christian.
Here are some resources and websites:
Books:
Torn: Rescuing to Gospel from the Christian VS Gay debate- by Justin Lee.
Fish Out of Water - one hour documentary challenging the 6 verses in the Bible that talk about same sex activity. (Spoiler: these verses require context, and many Cherry pick these verses when they aren’t talking about same sex relationships as we know them to be today….)
The Bible Tells Me So- this is on netflix. And it’d a doc about a gay son and his family that has a really happy ending!
This was a reeeally fast response (I could go into so much more detail! If you need anything else feel free to message me again.
Inktober number 7. Just a quick comic about a child hood memory. I was always trying to one-up the neighbor kids in terms of imagination stuff. ^^; And Griffons are totally legit and are probably my favorite mythological animal. Sorry about the quality. my sketchbook is really really big.
