*falls over* Oh my gosh… this took a while! LOL But here you go, Darlings! Sorry its a bit late, as far as a Christmas present goes. But Better late than never, right?!
I um… Have a sexy Christmas Korrasami sketch in mind but I’m not sure if I have it in me to share… It’s a bit risque’ and I haven’t ever drawn anything like it before…
If I get enough interest I may do it though… what do you guys think? Shall I do it?
365 days ago I was sitting on my wife’s bed stunned.
She had already gone to sleep, but I wasn’t about to miss the early release of the Legend of Korra series finale. Nope. No way. I had to see how it ended…
I never in my wildest dreams could have predicted how it would end though…and I accidently spoiled myself by looking on tumblr right before I watched the finale…. I seriously was shaking with excitement as I watched.
Could it be true? Was a Canon Bi-sexual couple on a children’s television show ACTUALLY going to happen.
Yes.
Guys, I cannot begin to explain to you in enough detail how much this meant to me. My wife and I just got married in July of this year… my family isn’t supportive of our marriage…so to see something like this happen on a kid’s show is just…so encouraging.
This says so much that two powerful protagonist women can love each other and build a strong relationship based on friendship and then into a partnership. It’s just…so lovely and a great relief. (and honestly I’m craving more shows to follow suit)
But Korrasami is the first to really tackle this. And that is why it so so so special to me and to all of you who look at this post as well.
So to honor this day I am posting all of my Korrasami pieces that I did this year (in no particular order, bit the first and last are my faves lol)…and HOPEFULLY something else later today. I am also participating in the LOK Big Bang and I did some artwork for a pretty interesting story. :)

I had SUCH A FUN Korrasami dream…. It was like it was coming back for a new season online, in the form of a trailer… But when you clicked on an image in the trailer, it took you to a a new movie they made to promote the new season.
time had passed and while Korra was still really strong and fought to protect as well as gently guide… Things were changing in her southern water tribe…and she was expected to become the Chief… Also for some reason everything was underground…and more steam punk… O.o
ASAMI was awesome and she and Korra were totally cute! Lol I remember in my dream I would take screen caps of the moments so I could post them on tumblr.
There was lots of fun banter, and cuddles… And they both had awesome fight scenes.
Odd things:
Her mom was a different and stern character though who wasn’t supportive if her and Asami.
Korra’s father was battling major depression that no one knew about.
Again, the whole living underground in this grand city was strange. There was a lot of water… And it was beautiful… But def not the southern water tribe lol
Anyway, I was seriously sad that I woke up and it was only a dream… :( we freaking need those comics.
Korrasami Week Day 3! Internet
Girlfriends VIDEO CHAT! This one was really fun! My wife and I had a long
distance thing going for a while when we started dating and it was
very challenging but so rewarding in the end!
I imagine that
Korra is just away doing Avatar things and she’ll be back soon to
hold Asami in her big, strong, avatar arms! Hehehe.
Note one Asami’s Icon: It’s a wrench with an ankh in the middle. Korra’s is obviously a chibi Naga.
Korrasami Day 2- Hair! huff huff
Sorry guys, this is a day late! I sketched it yesterday but then I
got realllly busy and finished it today! This was a harder one to
come up with an idea for. So I decided to have Asami be a big
goofball and ruffle Korra’s hair X3. I always draw them so serious
except for this one drawng I drew of them in a race car:

OMG it’s Korrasami WEEK! YAAAS! I
didn’t get to participate last year…but THIS YEAR, ITS ON!
So
Today the theme is FLOWERS. And I was really inspired by a shirt that
I own. I went with a slightly different style. Kinda reminds me of a
soft tattooing style? I didn’t want to go too crazy with the colors
and I really like how this turned out!
Just another sneak peek! I have about 10-12 illustrations based on the proposal that JAnet and Seychelle did this weekend…I’m SO JAZZED! This is a bit rough, and I’m not sure how its going to fit in with the finished product but I’ll figure that out as I go!
