My #original characters Mythos and Kyrie as youngsters. Even at a young age, Mythos was always slightly romantic at 💓. She probably climbed a mountain or something to get this flower.

Heyo guys! I finally had some time to sketch tonight! It’s been a while but I drew my Sphinx character, Mythos and her partner- Kyrie! :)
Mythos is asexual, and Kyrie is pansexual. :) I’m still fleshing out their really complex/hard to figure out where to start story. ^^; I need to try to do some outlining or something and get my thoughts in order lol.

I was feeling REAAAALLY ANGSTY for some reason… Decided to draw a bunch of Mythos expression doodles…ended up going from super angry, to bby Mythos being comforted by Bby Kyrie…to some sort of gooey lovey dovey sketch of them as adults…and theeen a brief note on their gender/sexuality.
Mythos, being a Sphinx/warrior person…identifies as gender fluid…and also asexual romantic.
Kyrie, is pansexual (LIKE ME) and cisgender female. :)

So manga studio 5 is on sale this weekend. Decided to buy it and try it out! I Painted the majority of this in Clip Studio Art (Manga Studio 5) but finished it up in Photoshop… I gotta say that as far as the line art tools I reaaaaally like this program. But I’m not sure about the painting process…it will take a lot of getting used to and I probably need to watch more tutorials. The way some of the brushes work are really confusing.I can see how they would be REALLY cool if I was trying to actually be painterly with my work…(And sometimes I really enjoy that look) but I think it is a bit odd that sometimes the brushes seem to “Blend” colors that are on a completely different layer.All in all for 15 bucks I think MS5 is a pretty nifty program and I look foward to creating more “painterly” pieces in the future.

Introducing KYRIE! She’s basically Mythos’ Partner (take that as you will :)) in battle. She grew up wit Mythos and although she isn’t nearly as tough as her, winged pal, Kyrie specializes in her own gifts and talents.
hadn’t ever had a chance to draw her before, its nice to finally draw her out.
Ths is a pretty rough color so I can get an idea of what she will look lke.
